Generally recommended for the quick working lunch, the following have an eye for healthy diversified eating, together with fast-as-you-please self service, with a minimum of "muss" on your part but lots of "fuss" on ours.

Soup, Salad, Sandwich Style...
A variety of well-filled sandwich quarters, croissants, and kaiser rolls, tossed garden salad, relish/pickle platter, cheese and cracker tray and a hearty home made soup. Includes coffee, soft drinks and a light dessert selection.

The Lighter Side...
Healthy, happy and wise? Absolutely! A variety of whole-grain rolls and breads, fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurt, tossed salad, relish/pickles, well-trimmed cold meat platter, tuna nad egg salad, coffee and soft drinks.

Boston Beef Bar...
Hot, well-trimmed beef-on-a-bun, horseradish, mustard, B.B.Q. sauce on the side, relish/pickle/cheese tray, French fries, cole slaw, a good bowl of home-made soup, coffee, soft drinks and light dessert selection.

TABLE SERVED DINNERS

All table served dinners include assorted bread basket, choice of two appetizers, soup, juice or salad, main entree, potatoes or seasoned rice, fresh harvest vegetable medley, Chef's dessert selection, and coffee or tea.

Roast Half Chicken...
Back removed, well-trimmed, oven-baked with savoury seasonings, served with rich pan gravy.

Fresh Roast Turkey...
We only use fresh Ontario Tom Turkey with all the trimmings.

Baked Virginia Style Ham...
Served with Raisin Sauce.

Roast Loin of Pork...
Schneiders Prime centre cut loin served with sage and onion dressing and a caramel apple brandy sauce.

Roast Top Sirloin of Beef...

COCKTAIL RECEPTIONS

Louisiana Shrimp Ring...
Ideal for the pre-dinner party presentation or as the highlight to your cocktail reception. Attractively presented in a chilled glass bowl and served in multiples of 50 or 100. Far and away our most regular addition for any function.

Decorated Cold Canapés...
An appealing selection of fancy bite size canapés, attractively presented on silver or glass trays.

Assorted Hot Hors D'ouvres...
The essence of the cocktail party or serve them as tasty tid-bits during pre-dinner conversation.

"Classique" Hors D'ouvres...
A distinctive presentation including bacon wrapped jumbo scallops, marinated tenderloin tips of beef, honey mustard chicken strips, etc.

Cheese, Fruit and Cracker Display...
An all time reception favourite, domestic and imported cheeses, fruits and superior biscuits.

Vegetable, Crudité and Dip Tray...
A must for any cocktail party or reception. A colourful array of fresh garden vegetables.

The Party Pack...
Includes cheese, fruit and cracker display, vegetable and dip tray, and your choice of either 3 sandwich quarters per person or 4 pieces per person of assorted hot hors d'ouvres. Minimum of 20 people.

Useful Miscellaneous Information

1. Room Rental - varies with the amount of food and/or beverage that is supplied by the hotel in your function room. In many cases it is waived, if room rental is applicable to your function, you will be advised at the point of confirming your food and/or beverage needs.

2. Guaranteed Attendees to Food Functions - a minimum guaranteed number of attendees for food functions is required 48 hours prior to the serving date, this is the minimum charged for. Should you have additional guests, we of course charge for those additional.

3. Function Room Decoration - you are invited to decorate your function room for that special occasion, however, please remember, no open flame or candles! No confetti - confetti-throwing carries a $100.00 clean up charge so please avoid this.

4. Method(s) of Payment - unless pre-arranged, all function payment schedules are as follows: Weddings - $500.00 non-refundable deposit at point of bookig - a further (to 50% of entire anticipated bill) is required 7 days prior - balance (to guaranteed minimum number), together with all anticipated host alcoholic beverage charges is required on the day of the function, unless pre-arranged with the hotel manager.

5. Bartender Fee - should you schedule a specific bartender(s) for your function and bar sales (net of taxes) are less than $150.00 in the first three hours of your function (host or cash bars) there may be a charge of $15.00 per bartender per hour (min. of 3 hours per each bartender). This may be reduced or waived at the discretion of the hotel manager, and often depends on the dollar amount of the food ordered by the convener. Catering manager will confirm charges (if any) for bartender(s) at point of booking food requirements.

6. Wilfull Function Room Damage - whilst we at The Drawbridge Plaza Hotel & Suites seldom experience wilfull damage. it should be advised that the convener will be liable for intentional or wilfull damage to the function room or any part of the hotel by any attendee to the event that is not apprehended. We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience at your function.

7. Off Premises Produced Food - is not permitted in the hotel unless agreed upon by the catering manager. Wedding and anniversary cakes are, of course, an exception. From a liability standpoint, no food produced at the hotel is allowed off the premises unless it is agreed upon by the hotel.
